The Cash Hunt rules are as follows and are stated on our Instagram account:
1. First rule is simple, find the cash and keep the cash!
2. Have fun, be safe and be nice to each other!
3. If there are any conflicts during hunts, the game will finish and the hunts will stop!
4. Please do not damage any property during hunts!
5. Cash will be hidden, and hunts will commence once a video is released via our Instagram account!
6. Those purchasing Map Location Hints have a head-start as the approximate area the cash is hidden.
7. Hunts will take place in public areas, where payment is not required to enter! Please do not trespass!
8. Cash will be hidden in suitable areas to ensure surroundings and participants are safe and no damage can be caused to property.
9. Winners, once the cash is found please send us a selfie (if you would like) so we can confirm the hunt is ended!
10. If, the cash is no longer at it’s location, the hunt has ended and we will try to notify via Instagram as soon as possible but this is with cooperation from participants - see Rule 9.
You must be over 18 to purchase a Map Location Hint.
The link to purchase a Map Location Hunt is active for around 15 minutes prior to a hunt going live. This will be announced via our Instagram Story to notify of a Hunt going live!
Hunts will become LIVE once an Instagram Post for that hunt has been posted on the account with the date and time of the hunt.
Please ensure the hunt is still ACTIVE and not closed by checking our Instagram account before purchasing.
If a hint is purchased and the cash has already been found without us being notified to end the hunt, unfortunately, we operate a no refund policy!
This link will become inactive as soon as we have been notified by the winner that the cash has been found and the hunt is finished!
This is confirmed with the cooperation of participants and winners to notify that the cash has been found and to confirm the hunt has ended (see rule 9).

By following the link in our bio, participants will have the opportunity to purchase map location hints providing an approximate area where the hunt will take place, giving a participant the upper hand when searching for the cash!
Map Location Hints will be available for just £1 each per hunt. Please ensure the hunt is still live before purchasing.
We recommend purchasing the Map Location Hint prior to the video hint being posted on our Instagram account to ensure you have the best possible head-start and your £1 is not wasted!
With a one-time payment, participants will receive the map location for one hunt that day.
Please be aware, map location hints will only give an approximate location of where the hunts will take place and provides a slight advantage.
The Map Location Hints will be made available around 15 minutes prior to a hunt starting, giving participants the edge before the video clue is posted to our Instagram account.
Of course, some eagle-eyed participants may not need the assistance of Map Location Hints!

Standard competition terms:
1. Eligibility:
Participants must be 18 years or older.
The hunts are open to the general public.
2. Entry:
To enter the competition, participants can purchase a Map Location Hint if they would like which assists in knowing the approximate location of a particular hunt.
3. Treasure Hunt Rules:
The hunts will take place when they are announced via our Instagram account
Participants that have either subscribed or purchased a Map Location Hint will receive an approximate location of the hunt via a map
Hints will lead participants to locations where the cash will have been hidden.
Participants must adhere to all local laws and regulations while participating in the treasure hunt. See the rules posted on our Instagram account!
4. Prize:
The prize for the winner of each hunt is cash in the form of a note, there may sometimes be vouchers or gift cards also
5. Winner Selection:
The winner is the participant who locates the cash first.
6. Notification:
The winner will be requested to notify us that they have found the cash and cooperation from the participant is appreciated.
If a winner does not notify us that they have found the cash, this is unfortunately beyond our control and hopefully other participants will be able to inform us that the hunt is over so we are able to finish the hunt and close the link to purchase a Map Location Hint.
7. Publicity:
By entering the competition, participants consent to the use of their name, likeness, and entry materials for promotional purposes related to the competition without additional compensation and agree to us using their details in winner's posts etc on our Instagram to prove the authenticity of our game.
8. Disqualification:
Participants may be disqualified and blocked via Instagram if they are found to have violated the competition rules, tampered with the entry process, or engaged in fraudulent behaviour such as sharing Map Location Hints with others.
9. Liability:
The competition organizers are not responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred by participants during the course of any hunt, if there are such events, any future hunts will be considered and may prevent further hunts in the future. Unfortunately, will do not offer any refund if a Map Location Hint has been purchased without the hunt being declared over. It is a participant’s responsibility to ensure a hunt is still active before making a purchase.
10. Modification or Termination:
The competition organizers reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice.
11. Subscription Service:
For participants that have opted to use our subscription service, you will receive access to all Map Location Hints for that month as well as entry to our *monthly prize draw. Alongside this there will be random spot prizes and exclusive hunts for subscribers only.
*Prize to be determined and announced via our Instagram account.
Our monthly prize draw will be conducted with a random generator using the participants that have used our subscription service. Giving hunters an extra chance of winning cash or other prizes such as gift cards or vouchers for local cafes or restaurants within the Staffordshire area to promote local businesses!
Once a subscription fails, a participant will no longer have the access for Map Location Hints or be entered into our monthly prize draw.
The frequency of hunts may increase in time, in which case the subscription cost will rise accordingly with this in mind and you will be notified of this change as and when it happens.
Please note, only an active subscription qualifies a participant's entry to the prize draw, along with having access to the Map Location Hints.
*We reserve the right to postpone a raffle if deemed necessary. If a raffle is to be drawn, it will be announced accordingly on our page.
11a. Subscription Continued
If there is a failed subscription payment: Our system will make a second attempt seven (7) days after the first attempt, if another payment failure occurs, a third attempt will be made after another seven (7) days, if another payment failure occurs, after seven (7) days, a fourth and final attempt will be made before the subscription is automatically cancelled.
There will be a total of three (3) payment attempts after the main one, with an interval of seven (7) days, after which the subscription will be cancelled.
Note: The delay between each attempt to charge is 7 days for users/customers whose payment method is by credit card, for those who pay via PayPal, the delay is 5 days instead of 7 days
12. GDPR Information for Raffle Participants
1.Purpose of Data Collection
· Purpose: We collect your personal data to administer the raffle, select winners, and contact the winners. If you consent, we may also use your data for marketing and promotional purposes.

· Duration: Your personal data will be retained until the raffle concludes and winners are contacted. Your data will be retained until you withdraw your consent.

· Right to Access: You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you.
· Right to Rectification: You have the right to request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete data.
· Right to Erasure: You have the right to request the deletion of your data under certain conditions.
· Right to Restrict Processing: You have the right to request the restriction of processing your data under certain conditions.
· Right to Object: You have the right to object to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes.
· Right to Data Portability: You have the right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and transmit it to another controller.
· If you wish for your data to not be displayed in our Raffle, unfortunately this will void your entry into our raffle.
6. Right to Withdraw Consent
· How to Withdraw: You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at thecashhunt@hotmail.com. Withdrawing consent will affect your entry into the raffle
7. Right to Lodge a Complaint
· Supervisory Authority: If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
